Lynn Pozehl

Civilian Instructor | Firearms

Lynn Pozehl spent 25 years in the United States Army Reserves. During his military career, he served as a Calvary Scout, Infantry Platoon Sargent, Drill Sargent, Senior Drill Sargent, and Non-Commissioned Officer School Instructor. He is also trained as a Combat Lifesaver. Lynn’s civilian career with the Nebraska Department Of Corrections has spanned the last 26 years. His areas of responsibility have included Officer, Corporal, Unit Case Worker, and Unit Case Manager, as well as 3 years as Case Manager for Death Row, member of the Emergency Response Team, and Firearms Instructor.

Lynn has trained in various Martial Arts, including Judo, Taekwondo, and Krav Maga. He is certified in Pressure Point Control Tactics, CPR/First Aid, AED, and Chemical Weapons. Lynn is a NRA Pistol Instructor, State Of Nebraska Concealed Handgun Permit Instructor, Red Dot Pistol Instructor certified by 88 Tactical and Scott Jedlinski of the Modern Samurai Project. He is a Student of the gun, studying under various National Instructors such as Scott Jedlinski, Gabe White, Tim Herron, Joel Park, and Matt Little. Lynn enjoys pistol competition in both USPSA and IDPA and is an IDPA Safety Officer.
